开展工程社会学研究,不仅是社会学理论发展的内在要求,而且对于深入认识和解决工程实践中的许多现实问题和理论问题,对于促进“跨学科工程研究”向深度和广度两个方向的发展都具有重要意义和价值。科学社会学和技术社会学都开创于西方,但系统的工程社会学研究首创于中国。为推进工程社会学的不断前进和不断创新,有必要认真梳理近年来工程社会学的新进展。全面梳理不容易,这里简要概述近年来工程社会学的新进展,简要介绍本专刊发表文章的亮点和特色,并对工程社会学的未来发展进行展望。

Conducting sociological research on engineering is not only an intrinsic requirement for the development of sociological theory but also holds significant importance and value for a deeper understanding and resolution of many practical and theoretical issues in engineering practice. Also, it plays a crucial role in promoting the development of "engineering studies" in both depth and breadth. While the sociology of science and the sociology of technology both originated in the West, the sociology of engineering was first established in China. To advance the continuous progress and innovation of the sociology of engineering, it is necessary to carefully review the new developments in this field in recent years. Although a comprehensive review is challenging, this paper briefly summarizes the new advances in the sociology of engineering in recent years, briefly introduces the highlights and characteristics of the articles published in this special issue, and looks forward to the future development of the sociology of engineering in China.
