Reservoir-forming Characteristics, Favorable Selection and Exploration Prospects of Deep CBM in Baijiahai Bulge

准噶尔盆地深部煤层气资源丰富,资源潜力巨大但勘探难度大。本文基于取得产气突破的准噶尔盆地白家海凸起勘探资料,分析了深部煤层气成藏特征,优选了有利区,并预测了深部煤层气的勘探开发前景。结果表明,研究区具有煤层厚度较大(>10m)且分布稳定、中低煤阶(0.52%<Ro,max<1.05%)、埋深较大(平均,埋深介于2425~2808m)、特低灰、低水分、中高挥发性等储层特征;具有含气量较高(10~22m3/t)、含气饱和度高(最高可达217%)、游离气占比高(可达60%以上)、以热成因为主的混合成因等含气性特征;具有主力孔渗差异性大、整体呈现低孔低渗等物性特征;形成以自生自储为主、下生上储为辅的游离气为主的煤层气成藏模式。西山窑组优质储层主要位于区块北部,有利区面积42.4km2,基于有利区的煤层气成藏特点,以彩探1H井为例,按照单井控制面积(0.1km2)和产气量(2×104m3/d)估算,在开展先导性试验的基础上,可部署68口L型分段压裂井,预期建成4×108m3/a的产能。
The deep coalbed methane resources of Junggar Basin is rich,and its potential is huge, but it is difficult to explore.Based on the exploration date of Baijiahai bulge in Junggar Basin, the characteristics of deep CBM accumulation are analyzed, the favorable areas are selected, and the exploration and development prospects of deep CBM are predicted. The study states that large coal seam thickness (>10 m) and stable distribution in Baijiahai uplift,with middle and low coal rank (0.52%<R<1.05%), large burial depth (average between 2 425~ 2 808m) , ultra-low ash, low moisture and middle and high volatility It has the characteristics of high gas content (10 ~ 22 m/t) , high gas saturation (up to 217%) , high proportion of free gas (up to 60%) , and mixed formation mainly caused by heat; The main porosity and permeability has great difference and low porosity and permeability as a whole; The coalbed methane reservoir formation mode is formed, which mainly consists of self-generated and self-stored gas, supplemented by lower-generated and upper-stored free gas. The high-quality reservoir of Xishanyao Formation is mainly located in the northern part of the block, with a favorable area of 42.4 km. Based on the characteristics of coalbed methane accumulation in the favorable area, taking Caitan 1H well as an example and estimating the controlled area (0.1 km) and gas production (2×10m/d) of a single well, 68 L-shaped staged fracturing wells can be deployed on the basis of pilot tests. It is expected to can build a capacity of 400 million square meters per year.
