Study on advanced detection technology based on electromagnetic frequency while drilling

Based on the existing advanced detection technology of water-bearing structure and the principles of electromagnetic frequency in the coal mine working face, the signal strength decreased with the increment of detection radius and the workload of the drilling technology is large. The main contents were further studied which including in the water exploration and drainage and the advanced detection based on electromagnetic frequency. The advanced detection technology based on electromagnetic frequency was proposed. The probe detector and the probe circuit were designed, and the industrial experimental study was carried out. The results show that based on the skin effect of electromagnetic induction, the electromagnetic dipole profiling device not only eliminates the primary field, but also has strong electromagnetic effect. The lower the electromagnetic frequency, the greater the propagation distance and the larger the water-bearing tectonic radius. The high-frequency electromagnetic wave can detect the water-bearing structure of the roadway rock near the drill hole. The advanced detection based on electromagnetic frequency while drilling is installed between the drill bit and the drill pipe. It can effectively detect the water-bearing structure in the range of 30 m, the number of boreholes designed for water exploration and drainage has been reduced by 2/3, and the detection accuracy and the tunneling efficiency are effectively improved.
