地区创新水平与能源利用效率——基于面板数据空间计量模型的分析

    基于2006—2020年273个地级市面板数据,构建空间杜宾模型,考察地区创新水平对能源利用效率的影响。实证结果显示,相较于线性模型,空间杜宾模型拥有更好的解释效果;地区创新水平对能源利用效率的直接效应呈现“U型”走势,随着地区创新水平的升高,先降低能源利用效率,跨越拐点后,提高能源利用效率,间接效应呈现相反趋势,当前大部分地区的创新水平位于“U型”曲线左侧;动态空间面板模型和地区创新水平滞后一期的分析说明回归结果稳健;地区创新水平对能源利用效率的影响在东中西部有明显差异。应深入推进能源技术创新,促使创新水平跨越发展拐点;逐步加强区域协同合作,促进正向溢出效应;并制定区域差异化发展政策,关注区域差异和相互协调平衡。
  • Abstract
    Based on panel data from 273 prefecture-level cities spanning the years 2006 to 2020, this study constructs a spatial Durbinmodel to investigate the impact of regional innovation levels on energy utilization efficiency. Empirical results show that, compared to linearmodels, the spatial Durbin model has a better explanatory performance. The direct effect of regional innovation levels on energy utilizationefficiency exhibits a “ U - shaped” trend, initially decreasing energy utilization efficiency as regional innovation levels rise, crossing aturning point, and then increasing energy utilization efficiency. The indirect effect follows the opposite trend, with most regions currentlypositioned to the left of the “U-shaped” curve. Analyses from the dynamic spatial panel model and a one-period lag of regional innovationlevels demonstrate the robustness of the regression results. Additionally, there are significant regional differences in the impact of regionalinnovation levels on energy utilization efficiency in the eastern, central, and western regions. Recommendations include advancing energytechnology innovation to propel innovation levels beyond development turning points, gradually strengthening regional cooperation to fosterpositive spillover effects, and formulating differentiated regional development strategies that focus on regional disparities and mutualcoordination.
