Abstract
In order to solve the problems of large deformation amount of surrounding rock, difficult to control and others during the stoping period of the trapezoidal roadway in the 2303 working face, the reasons for the large deformation of roadway surrounding rock are obtained through on-site investigation, theoretical calculation, and numerical simulation, and the support parameters are conducted to be optimized. The results show that the width of the coal pillar is obtained to be 10.8-12.4 m through theoretical calculation, and the rationality of the 12 m width coal pillar is verified through numerical simulation. Increase the length of the anchor rod from 2000 mm to 2400 mm and increase the length of the anchor cable from 5400 mm to 8000 mm. After adopting this optimization scheme on site, the roof subsidence amount and the two sides convergence amount of monitoring point 1 and monitoring point 2 reaches 36 mm, 49 mm, 34 mm, and 47 mm, respectively, effectively controlling the deformation of the roadway surrounding rock.
