In the context of energy transformation, the reform of the coal industry is imperative, and analysis and evaluation of its social and economic impacts are particularly important.Starting from the influence of the transformation of the coal industry on the “four mines” and social development, the energy consumption cost accounting model is established, and the social and economic impact of China's coal industry pattern has been analyzed from the perspective of qualitative and quantitative perspectives. The results show that the four mines have different degrees of environmental and social problems, and the optimization of coal-based energy structure in China has caused the increase of energy consumption cost, while as the carbon emissions cost increases, the cost structure of energy consumption will experience a profound change. Thus, the high-quality transformation and development of the coal industry is imminent for sustainable development of energy systems.
