Abstract
The complex structure inside the coal seam will affect the mining speed of the working face, and even cause thereopening of the cutting hole to waste manpower and material resources. When there is a fault with a large drop leading tothe aquifer, it often causes major safety hazards such as water permeability in the working face; Blind mining without clearexploration can cause water inrush accidents in the mining face. For working faces with complex structures, it is necessary toclearly explore the hidden structures inside them before mining, and the structure in the working face can be effectively controlled by using reasonable geophysical methods. Several faults were exposed in a working face of a certain mine inGuanzhong, and serious water dripping occurred. To ensure the safety of subsequent production, reasonable geophysicalmethods were used for exploration, and the exploration results were jointly interpreted with known geological data. Finally, one fault and three fault fracture zones in the working face are interpreted; Moreover, the fault is developed across the working face and has a large influence range. After drilling verification, the mining party decided to terminate the mining of theworking face, which ensured the life and property safety of the staff.
