Abstract
Pingdingshan mine area, which belongs to China Pingdingshan Coal Shenma Group, after nearly 70 years of coal mining, a large amount of coal mine underground space resources are formed, including shafts, roadways, chambers, goafs, as well as leftover coal, coalbed methane, geothermal water, etc. left behind after the mining of coal mines. The special resources with enormous potential and value for development and utilization attract widespread attention in many fields. Preliminary theoretical research and experiments are conducted in different directions. Through investigation, classification, and analysis of the underground space of the coal mine in Pingdingshan mine area, combined with the characteristics of spatial occurrence, targeted development and utilization schemes such as the carried out pumped storage, compressed air storage, CO2 geological storage, geothermal energy utilization, the establishment of storage warehouses, coalbed methane extraction, and so on are proposed to provide ideas for closing and exiting mines for diversified development.
